Last night was the Canadians Ink March Team Meeting. Lots of fun, cards, prizes, and demonstrations! There’s so much of this stamping world that I still don’t know. It’s nice to pick up some new techniques, like masking. We’ll see what I can do with that! Anyway, here are the cards we made last night. Happy Sunday!
I wanted to have a little fun this morning while the husband was still sleeping so I took out some of my stamp sets that I haven’t really had a chance to fiddle with yet. There are a few of them, by the way! 😉 And here is what I came up with. I can’t wait until my nephew’s birthday this year so I can give him the monster card! He is a little monster, after all. Lovable and adorable but a monster!!
I’ll be going to a Stampin Up Team meeting tonight so I’ll have some more new cards to show you later on! Have a great day!!!
Well, last week I was asked to make a wedding card for someone so I took a crack at it. There were a few I came up with using what stamps I already had. I know some of them may look a *little* similar to some of the Valentine’s cards I did, but what can you do? 🙂 Take a look! After all these samples, some of the more fancy than others, you know what card they picked? One of the blue and green owl ones in my previous post!! Oye!
So, I went to a stamping class with my sister last weekend. My Stampin Up demonstrator, Caroline LeBel, has such amazing ideas! I love when I’m able to see a card using a stamp set I wouldn’t have looked at twice otherwise. It makes me think outside the box a little. And it also encourages me to buy one or a dozen new stamp sets! Oh dear. I think I’m going to need to do my taxes soon with the hope of a refund! 🙂
Well, I haven’t managed to post many of my cards lately so I’m not entirely sure where to begin! These two were inspired from a Stampin Up video and catalogue. I think they turned out pretty well! I think I like the bird one just a little bit better but a lot of people seem to like the birthday one. It’s a toss-up!
I’ve been working away on a bunch of knitting stuff lately and unfortunately, that doesn’t leave me a whole lot to post about. I’ve become a 90 year old lady knitting square hot plates! 🙂 At least they’re made out of pretty colours!
I went to a stamping class hosted by my marvelous Stampin’ Up demonstrator, Caroline LeBel, last weekend and made a bunch of great cards. I’ll be able to post them up with weekend along with a few new designs, I hope! Stay tuned!!
