My baking class has ended for another term and while I’ll be sad that there are no more smells of freshly baked bread, it does mean that I will have my weekends back!! Â Expect new projects to be posted soon!!
I’ve been concentrating on knitting a friend a baby blanket for her soon-to-be and I finished it this week! Â I’ll post pictures soon.
After 4 days at the Creativ Festival this fall, lots of money was spent and many classes were attended! Â I even bought myself a fancy new sewing maching. Â Now I only need to learn how to use it! Â 🙂
Not that I needed it, Â but I also discovered a new craft called locker hooking and no, it’s not meant to be anything dirty! Â 🙂 Â I’m hoping I can make myself some sort of rug or something out of these new supplies. Â We will see!
Out of the paper craft classes we went to, I have a picture of the coolest one!  We started to make a 3-D scrapbook album.  It’s so neat and collapsible!  I just have to finish it.  There’s another four sections to finish and then I have to add in all the pictures!  I also have a Christmas kit of the same type to make as well.  They are so cute!
When I haven’t been making cards, I’ve been going pretty knit crazy lately! Â I think I’ve been averaging a scarf every 2-3 days. Â I’m sad that I haven’t really progressed past the scarf stage but at least they’re pretty! Â I finally made one using a pattern so that’s something! Â 🙂 Â Here are the pretty scarves in the pretty colours! Â I even decided to make some adorable baby scarves, only to learn that you shouldn’t really put a scarf on a baby… Â Who knew?
I don’t think I’ve yet posted a picture of my completed quilt top!  Even though I hate it now, I’m still proud that I made it this far.  The next stage is just to actually quilt it altogether.  You know, that will only take a  year or so.  No problem at all!
It’s very sad when I went to an all day stamping event way back in the summer when the weather actually reached above 15 degrees and I’m only sharing them now. Â It was such a great day hosted by the wonderful Christyne Richardson. Â We made not only cards, big and small, but we also made a cute carrying case, a decorated canvas, and a creative new notepad, complete with a set of bookmarks! Â We used the Simply Scrapping Kit in the summer mini for all of these wonderful creations!
Here’s just a few of the cards we made that day!
Next, I have a few cards to share that I got from the swap at Stampin’ Palooza. Â It’s great to be surrounded by so many talented people! Â I can’t wait to make some of these cards for myself!
Okay, as promised, I have lots of pictures to share!
The first set is a random sampling of some cards I’ve been making recently. Â Some are Lindsay originals and some are cased from card classes over the last year. Â As you can see, most are Christmas cards because it’s that time of the year! Â I’ve been pretty busy fulfilling a number of orders and I hope more orders come in soon because they are just so much fun to make! Â 🙂 Â But what would a sampling of cards be without one with buttons?!
