Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day

I don’t think there are any fathers out there that actually read this blog – I’m not even sure there are any men out there who would look at these cards but I’m going to throw a Happy Father’s Day out there anyway!  🙂  Even though my dad isn’t around anymore and I’m not able to make him a card, I still had a lot of fun making these ones.  It was fun to see them come together and imagine which one I would pick to give to him.  But considering he wasn’t a car guy and didn’t wear a tie unless he had to, I think the choice would be pretty easy.

What do you think?  I think the last card out of these three would be for my dad with the tree one coming in close behind.

I can’t decide here whether I like the “speed” or have the car just centred and alone.

The next card I made at Christyne Richardson’s amazing card class and beside it is my take, since I didn’t have the same designer paper she used!  🙂

I hope you have a great day!

Easter…oops!

Easter…oops!

So I was looking back through my posts a couple weeks ago and it dawned on me that I did not post anything about my Easter cards!  I mean I made them and sold them but there were no pictures!  Well, I am here to rectify that!  It’s better late than never…right…?  I can’t wait until next Easter so I can make more of these super cute cards!

More Wedding

More Wedding

As promised, I made a couple of other wedding cards for my co-workers to give my dear friend.  His wedding was lovely!  It was so nice to be there and oh! the food!!  Absolutely insane.  Antipasto, pasta, fish and salad, meat main course, dessert, midnight seafood buffet and dessert buffet!  I’m not sure whether anyone could dance enough to work that off but I’m telling you, some of my co-workers tried!  🙂  It was a great night all around.  There are two things in particular that I’m going to remember…my curly hair and the super fun photo booth!!  🙂  I did make him a card myself but I can’t believe I didn’t take a picture of it.  It was so cute.  Ah well.  Maybe I’ll have to make it again sometime.

I hope you like these cards!
