If anyone was curious what a big box of happy yarn looks like, here you go!
So much happy! Â The yarn is so soft and I’ve already started planning what I’m going to make! Â At some point, there will be finished products.
For right now, I’m in the middle of making my very first sweater! Â Well, not really the middle – more like the beginning. Â I think this will be a long work in progress. Â Hopefully not a “heritage project” as they’re called. Â The ones you start but might take a lifetime to finish!
This particular sweater is called Freeport Cardigan. Â Here is what it’s supposed to look like when it’s done.
And here is what I have so far:
It is certainly coming along and I’m very happy with it. Â I’ve had to check in with my knitting group’s expert on a point or two but I think I’ll make it through. Â At this point, I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that it will fit when I’m done!
On a personal note, I volunteered at a conference this past week.  It was a very long few days but incredibly rewarding and the last keynote of the conference was no other than David Usher!  Moist was the very first band that I ever saw in concert and seeing him speak on creativity was incredible.  He and a band member sang a few songs and he stayed for a book signing!  I even got a picture with this glorious man!  I did my best to not squeal when I was actually talking with him!
I hope you have all had a wonderful week and I’ll touch base soon!
