As I prepare for the Stampin’ Up! Convention in just a mere 3 weeks, there’s so much to do! I’ve signed up for two organized card swaps, which means 35 super (hopoefully pretty) cards and then more and more cards for my general swapping. Right now I have 60 cards made for general swapping. I would like to make another 20-40 but we’ll have to see if I can come up with any other ideas! So far, the card making has taken over the house. I have supplies all over the craft room, the dining room table and now the coffee table in the living room! How the husband puts up with me, I’ll never know.
At the same time, I’ve also been knitting. I finished my little birdie and sold it before I thought to take a picture. Yay me… Right now I’m thinking about what I’m going to make for my Convention roomies. Am I going to knit, papercraft, cross-stitch, what?
Finally, I’m also participating in the monthly challenge of the main geek crafting forums that I love, www.spritestitch.com. This month’s challenge is a video game logo/symbol colouring book. We were given outlines of a number of objects and we had to decide how we were going to colour them in. We could use any form of medium but I chose cross-stitch. This is the Aperture Science logo from Portal and I made it into a colour wheel! I just love the colours. It was so fun to make!
Wish me luck with all the rest!
