Mid-August, Shelli Gardner and Stampin’ Up came to our little city of Hamilton for the first Regionals event of the year and what a day it was! It was filled with chatting with other demonstrators. Tons and tons of swapping. There were excellent presentations and demonstrations, some by Stampin’ Up and others by local demonstrators! I really did wish I had more pictures to commemorate the event but alas… Shelli walked on the stage, I went to take a picture and my camera complained that it had no memory card. A nice little curse word starting with “mother” just slipped out of my mouth! Luckily I knew most of the people at our table or it may have turned some heads! 🙂 Below are the swap cards I made for the event! I made 38 of these cards combined but I had another 30+ cards from another event a couple years ago. They came in handy! Even then I didn’t have enough cards to swap! So many people, so many ideas!
The first card is using the Lovely as a Tree set! I’m glad I bought it. I resisted for a couple of years but now that I have it, it’s coming in handy! The second card is using the Snow Much Fun set again and I was about get out my Peekaboo Frames die! It can make such a cute card!
And now I’ll show you the projects we made the day of! We made a cute little box with small notecards. The box was made out of the tags die!
Then we made a very nice 8×8 scrapbook page. It’s only missing the picture! I should really start scrapbooking again so I can make use of this page. So many 8×8 and 12×12 albums just waiting to be filled!
Finally, we made several other notecards and then made a vellum envelope to carry them all in! Very cute idea if you want to sell or give away packs of cards! I’m going to have to get me some vellum!!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing what we made! Until next time! 🙂
